Flipping pages with nate page

I wonder if New York-based artist Nate Page (1976) got the idea to cut pages in magazines from his own last name? Anyways his carved out magazines with different layers look great, and was recently exhibited @Jen Bekman gallery in NYC. The idea is very simple and powerful of transforming everyday objects into personal expressions. He graduated from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in 2000.
